Lando Norris acredita que foi injusto colocar Carlos Sainz na terceira posição para a reentrada em Mônaco após seu erro na primeira volta.

Lando Norris achieved a third-place result at the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix. The McLaren driver in Formula 1 had a smooth race, starting from fourth position and finishing in the same place. However, Norris was dissatisfied with the decision to allow Ferrari to restart the race from third place.

During the start of the race at the Monaco street circuit, Carlos Sainz was involved in a dispute with another driver, which caused a puncture in the front left tire. As a result, Sainz went straight at a certain turn and ended up in last place.

Fortunately for Sainz, a collision involving other drivers resulted in a red flag, giving him a chance to recover. During the pit stops, the FIA announced that the race would be restarted in the original order. This decision sparked controversy, and Norris expressed his frustration with it.

While Norris believes that putting Sainz in third place before the restart was unfair, his team boss disagrees. The Italian believes that the FIA made the best possible decision for the restart.

The 2024 Monaco Grand Prix was a memorable event for Ferrari, and McLaren also had a decent performance. The team secured a solid second and fourth place, which could boost their chances in the Championship if they continue to perform well. Currently, McLaren has accumulated 184 points in the constructors’ standings.
