Lando Norris admits he does not measure up to world champions Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton as his reputation in F1 continues to rise.

Lando Norris has proven to be an incredibly strong contender on the race track this season. Despite being a formidable force for the championship, Norris has expressed his admiration for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. Many believe that Norris has the potential to win the coveted title in the future.

McLaren has had a successful season so far, accumulating 268 points in 11 races. This is only 34 points away from their total score in the previous season. Lando Norris has been leading the team, winning the Miami Grand Prix and achieving six podium finishes.

However, Norris has missed out on a few opportunities to win races this season due to his lack of experience at the highest level. He acknowledges that Hamilton and Verstappen have an advantage over most drivers on the grid because of their longevity in Formula 1. Norris is determined to learn and improve in order to compete at their level and ultimately win a championship.

Oscar Piastri, a McLaren driver, secured a crucial podium finish for the team in Austria. Starting from P7, Piastri’s strong performance was a boost for the team after Norris suffered a disappointing Did Not Finish (DNF) result. Piastri is motivated to end the triple header on a positive note and aims to achieve more success at the team’s home Grand Prix in Silverstone.

Despite being in only his second year of F1, Oscar Piastri has already achieved two podium finishes this season, exceeding expectations. Both Piastri and Norris are determined to give their all at the upcoming race in Silverstone, which holds great significance for McLaren.

McLaren has demonstrated great versatility and consistency this season, performing well on various tracks and in different conditions. The team aims to continue this trend at Silverstone, with the goal of not just being on the podium, but winning the race.
