Lando Norris reached an “undesirable” milestone at the São Paulo GP.

Lando Norris returned to the podium at the São Paulo Grand Prix of Formula 1 with a second place, just behind Max Verstappen (Red Bull). Thus, McLaren’s strong form continues, currently being the second force in the field.

However, the British driver now has a record that he would surely prefer not to have – with his 13th podium, he equaled Nick Heidfeld as the driver with the most podium finishes without winning a race in history.

More than once Norris came close to achieving that victory, particularly at the 2021 Russian Grand Prix – where he lost the win by choosing to stay on slick tires when the rain started to fall, confident that it wouldn’t intensify as it did.
