Land Rover has decided to introduce a series of updates to the Defender, in order to improve its luxury and comfort credentials.
Passenger comfort is now optimized with a new Signature Interior Pack, which offers heated/cooled front seats with 14 electric adjustments, memory function, and new wrap-around headrests.
In the second row, heated seats with wrap-around headrests are incorporated in the Defender 110 and 130 models, while in the third row, the seats are heated to ensure greater comfort throughout the vehicle, even on colder days.
For Defender 130, the luxurious Captain Chairs Pack is still available. This new option for the second row enhances the passenger experience with two luxurious individual seats, each incorporating individual armrests, while the aisle between them creates space for the passenger in the center seat of the third row to stretch their legs. In addition, the second-row seats also have headrests with side cushions.
The Defender now also features a Sedona Edition version, with new specifications and a color inspired by the Arizona desert, available for the 110 version, which stands out for its dark red tone of the bodywork, adding Narvik Black color to the Defender emblem, grille, and front sill protections, as well as Gloss Black color on the 22” alloy wheels and includes the spare wheel cover in the body color.
Land Rover has announced that the Sedona Red color, used for the first time on the Defender 130, will be available on the Defender 110 Sedona Edition for only one year. Another exclusive detail of the Sedona Edition is the new optional hood decal with the Sedona topography, evoking the off-road capability of the Defender. Exterior accessories include an optional Sedona Red cargo box, ideal for transporting wet or muddy clothing or equipment.
The interior is based on the premium features of the Defender X-Dynamic HSE model and is available with Ebony Windsor leather seats or, for the first time, KvadratTM fabric seats for a durable finish with a rich texture.
Land Rover also announced that they have simplified the configuration options for the Defender, which are now available in the S, X-Dynamic SE, X-Dynamic HSE, X, and V8 trim levels for the 90, 110, and 130 variants.
