Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll Cleared to Race at Canadian Grand Prix!

In a thrilling turn of events, Aston Martin has officially declared that Lance Stroll will be back on the track for his home race, the Canadian Grand Prix. Stroll had to sit out the Spanish Grand Prix due to an injury, leaving fans questioning his status for the upcoming race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

The anticipation surrounding Stroll’s return escalated after a statement from Aston Martin revealed the reason behind his absence in Spain. The statement mentioned, “Over the course of the past six weeks Lance has been experiencing pain in his hand and wrist, which his medical consultant believes is in relation to the procedure he underwent in 2023.” Following a medical procedure conducted by renowned MotoGP surgeon Dr. Xavier Mir, Stroll’s participation in the Canadian Grand Prix was uncertain until Aston Martin’s recent confirmation.

With Stroll back in the driver’s seat alongside Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin will boast a formidable two-car lineup for the Canadian race. This announcement comes as a relief for fans and the team, especially with both Aston Martin reserves, Felipe Drugovich and Stoffel Vandoorne, currently engaged in the 24 Hours of Le Mans event.

The return of Lance Stroll to the Aston Martin lineup promises an action-packed Canadian Grand Prix, adding an extra layer of excitement and competition to the upcoming race weekend. Stay tuned as the drivers gear up to battle it out on the iconic Circuit Gilles Villeneuve!
