Lamborghini can’t make them fast enough! With demand for the Urus SUV and Revuelto supercar exploding, the Italian marque is set to shatter its own sales records in 2024. From diehard Lambo enthusiasts to new customers drawn to the brand’s hybrid powertrains, everyone wants a piece of the Raging Bull—and they’re willing to wait years to get it.

Despite the divisive opinions from “keyboard warriors” about the Urus, dismissing it as a “not-so-Lamborghini” due to its shared underpinnings with Audi and Volkswagen models, the high-performance SUV has been nothing short of a blockbuster for Lamborghini. Since its 2017 debut, the Urus has been the brand’s top seller, and the shift to a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) for 2024 hasn’t slowed its popularity. With order books filled through 2025, a new Urus buyer today won’t see delivery until 2026.

Meanwhile, Lamborghini’s latest flagship, the Revuelto, is also a hot ticket. The plug-in hybrid V-12 supercar commands a two-year wait, with new orders estimated for delivery by late 2026. Enthusiasts have clamored for a piece of this hybrid beast, proving that Lamborghini’s transition to PHEV technology isn’t scaring anyone off. For those longing for a pure V-12 experience, the Revuelto remains one of the last of its kind.

Then there’s the newly unveiled Temerario, a Huracan replacement unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August. Lamborghini reports a “very positive response” to this “entry-level” supercar, which was developed independently, without a shared platform with the Audi R8. Thanks to the Urus’s financial success, Lamborghini was able to bring this project to life without cutting corners.

These models have supercharged Lamborghini’s 2024. After a record-breaking 10,112 units sold in 2023, the January-September sales this year hit a peak with 8,411 cars delivered—a remarkable 8.6% increase from the same period last year. At this pace, Lamborghini’s best year ever could soon be in the books. With the brand’s exclusive lineup pushing limits in both performance and desirability, Lamborghini shows no signs of slowing down.
