Lamborghini Sales Soar in First Half of 2024

In a stunning display of success, Lamborghini has reported selling an impressive 5,558 vehicles in the first six months of this year. The Italian automaker’s revenues reached an astounding €1,621 million ($1,760 million), marking a remarkable 14.1% increase compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the company’s operating profit rose to €458 million ($497 million).

CEO Stephan Winkelmann expressed his pride in these achievements, stating, “We are extremely proud of the results we achieved in the first half of 2024. We are going through a pivotal phase, supported by the largest investment in the company’s history, with the main objective of expanding our product offering. This process demands significant resources, yet these efforts are essential to sustain our growth and ensure that Automobili Lamborghini continues to innovate and lead in the luxury super sports car sector.”

One of the most sought-after vehicles from Lamborghini is the Revuelto, the flagship supercar and the electrified successor to the legendary Aventador. The Revuelto boasts a powerful 6.5L V12 engine without turbocharging, complemented by three electric motors. With a combined horsepower of 1,001 (1,015 ps/747 kW), this extraordinary machine can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 217 mph (350 kph). Additionally, the plug-in hybrid supercar has the ability to travel in full electric mode for a short distance.

Another popular model contributing to Lamborghini’s sales is the Urus SE, the plug-in hybrid version of the super crossover series. Unveiled at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show in April, the Urus SE has garnered significant attention, with orders already covering approximately one year of production. Prospective buyers of this PHEV Urus, which features a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor, will have to wait until next summer to take delivery. The powerful combination of these components enables the Urus SE to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds.

The Huracan, a V10-powered supercar, has also played a role in Lamborghini’s sales success. However, the automaker anticipates ending production of this model in December. Fear not, though, as Lamborghini is already working on a successor to the Huracan. Rumored to be named the Temerario, this upcoming entry-level supercar is expected to boast over 900 metric horses or 887+ bhp/662+ kW. Stephan Winkelmann himself revealed these details on social media, referring to the new model by its codename, 634. The Temerario will feature a twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors, promising an exhilarating driving experience.

With its impressive sales figures and ongoing commitment to innovation, Lamborghini continues to solidify its position as a leader in the luxury super sports car sector.

Lamborghini’s New Temerario: Faster and More Exciting than Ever Before!

Get ready for the latest sensation from Lamborghini – the Temerario! This powerhouse of a car may have slightly less horsepower than its predecessor, the Revuelto, but don’t let that fool you. With its smaller size and lighter weight, the Temerario is set to blow your mind with its lightning-fast acceleration and impressive top speed.

Experts predict that the Temerario will be able to go from 0 to 62 mph in just two and a half seconds – that’s faster than you can blink! And when it comes to top speed, this beast is expected to rival Lamborghini’s current flagship supercar. Hold on tight, because the Temerario is about to take you on the ride of your life.

While details about the Temerario are still shrouded in mystery, one thing is for certain – Lamborghini has spared no expense in creating this masterpiece. Rumor has it that the Temerario shares an electrified V8 engine with other models in the VW Group’s portfolio, but with Lamborghini’s unique touch, you can expect nothing less than perfection.

From what little we’ve seen, the Temerario bears a striking resemblance to the iconic Huracan. But make no mistake, this is an entirely new creation from the ground up. With improved aerodynamics, enhanced downforce, and mind-blowing acceleration, the Temerario is set to outshine its predecessor in every way.

Excitement is building as the official unveiling of the Temerario draws near. According to insiders, Lamborghini may reveal this beauty to the world as early as August 2024. While we eagerly await the grand reveal, we can’t help but wonder – what color would you choose for your V10-powered supercar? The possibilities are endless, and the thrill is unimaginable.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Temerario, and get ready to witness the birth of a new legend in the world of supercars. Lamborghini has once again raised the bar, and we can’t wait to experience the sheer power and exhilaration of the Temerario firsthand. Buckle up, because this is going to be one wild ride.
