Lamborghini has presented the Huracán STJ, a limited edition of ten units that marks the farewell of the super sports car from Sant’Agata Bolognese, equipped with the V10 engine.
The well-known naturally aspirated engine is a symbol of Lamborghini’s history, having contributed to the success of the Huracán family first introduced in 2014, which will be replaced by a new model equipped with a hybrid powertrain by the end of the year, which everything indicates will be the Temerario.
The new Huracán STJ is designed based on the STO and represents the pinnacle of performance achieved in the history of the Huracán range, benefiting from the introduction of an exclusive package designed to further enhance the sports spirit.
The Huracán STJ pays tribute to Lamborghini’s single-brand championship, standing out for its refined aerodynamics developed by the Lamborghini Squadra Corse technicians, leveraging the expertise acquired over ten years at the top of Gran Turismo competitions.
Thus, the STJ features the iconic “cofango”: two new carbon fiber aerodynamic appendices, a rear wing that has seen the angle increase by 3° compared to the production model to ensure a 10% increase in aerodynamic load.
Just like the STO, the Huracán STJ delivers a maximum power of 640 hp at 8000 rpm and a torque of 565 Nm, which transmits power to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Mechanical grip has also been improved with four adjustable dampers derived from competition that are adjustable to maintain ideal dynamic control of the sports car and increase steering precision. To maximize driving dynamics, special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires have been developed, made with a specific high-grip compound that are installed on 20-inch single-nut wheels. The sporty character and exclusivity of this Huracán STJ are also visible in the aesthetics, with two different configuration and paint options designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile. The first combines a Grigio Telesto (gray) body color with a Nero Noctis (black) roof and Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white) details. The second configuration uses the Blu Eliadi (blue) color for the body with a Nero Noctis (black) roof and details in Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white).
Both versions feature a special numbered carbon fiber plate marked as “1 of 10”, highlighting the exclusivity of this model.
