The current days are not easy for Donald Trump in politics, however, the former US president is a man of refined taste and a sports car enthusiast, so it’s not surprising that one of his former cars is now being auctioned.
It is a Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster, one of the 132 produced for the North American market by the Italian brand between 1997 and 1999, and it belonged to Donald Trump until the former US president sold it in 2002.
The blue Le Mans Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster will now be auctioned by Barret-Jackson at an event taking place in Scottsdale, Arizona, until January 28, where more than 1900 vehicles will be auctioned. In addition to the exclusive Le Mans blue color, the model was personalized to the former president’s liking and therefore features a plaque with the inscription “Diablo 1997 by Donald Trump” installed on the driver’s door.
Although it has passed through the hands of other owners since 2002, the Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster has only 24,834 km on the odometer. It is equipped with a 5.7-liter V12 engine with 48 valves mounted in a central position, offering a power of 492 hp at 7000 rpm and a maximum torque of 430 Nm.
