Kyle Petty elogia Kyle Busch como o melhor piloto de corrida do mundo e o coloca acima de Kyle Larson.

Kyle Petty shared his opinion on the ongoing debate between Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson. Larson, who is a highly accomplished driver and the current Cup champion of Hendrick Motorsports in 2021, is often considered one of the best drivers in the world. However, according to Petty, there is another Kyle who deserves the title more.

During a discussion about Larson’s dominance in Las Vegas, Petty acknowledged Larson’s impressive achievements, but emphasized that he has not yet surpassed Busch in terms of accomplishments. Busch, a two-time Cup champion and the driver with the most wins among the current grid, still holds the title until Larson achieves better statistics.

Petty stated: “We talk about Kyle Larson being the best race car driver on the planet right now. You read that in any newspaper, you pick it up, you see it all the time. 31 years old, 24 wins, one championship. Kyle Busch – 38 years old, seven years older, 63 wins, two championships. When he [Larson] surpasses Kyle Busch, I’ll give you that he’s one of the best race car drivers in the world and he can do anything at any time, but Kyle Busch is still getting it done.

The debate between the two Kyles is certainly entertaining, but it is important to recognize Busch’s success and not overlook his achievements while Larson establishes himself as a top driver. Fans should appreciate and applaud both drivers for their accomplishments on the track.

Despite not being the oldest driver, Kyle Busch is currently the most experienced driver on the grid. He has accumulated numerous records over the years that even Larson can only dream of. One of his notable records is the highest number of wins in the national series, with over 225 combined wins in the three series, surpassing even the legendary Richard Petty.

Busch holds the record for being the driver with the most wins in both the Truck Series and the Xfinity Series. If Larson wants to break this record, he would need to compete full-time in the lower division with top equipment for at least half a decade, which is unlikely to happen.

Furthermore, Busch has more than double the number of race wins than Larson and holds the record for winning at least one race in a season for almost twenty years. For Larson to establish a greater legacy, he will need to win more championships and continue to dominate in other forms of racing.

In conclusion, the debate between Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson is ongoing, but it is essential to recognize Busch’s achievements while appreciating Larson’s talent. Both drivers have their own strengths and records, and it will be interesting to see how their careers unfold in the future.
