Kyle Busch Strikes Back: Unveils Truth Behind Controversial Millbridge Showdown with Fiery Declaration

Kyle Busch talks with the press on the red carpet during NASCAR media day on Wednesday, Feb.12, 2025.

Kevin Harvick Calls Out Kyle Busch’s Team for Underperformance in 2025 NASCAR Season

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season has been a turbulent one for Kyle Busch and his No. 8 team, with only one top-5 finish in the first 10 races, leaving him in a disappointing 16th place in the championship standings. Former Cup champion Kevin Harvick didn’t hold back in his assessment of the struggles faced by Busch’s team this season.

During a recent episode of the Happy Hour Podcast, Harvick pointed out that mistakes on the track and slow pit stops have been major factors contributing to Busch’s lackluster performance. With track position playing a crucial role in the Next-Gen era of racing, any errors on the team’s part can prove costly and prevent them from capitalizing on good qualifying efforts.

Harvick emphasized the importance of precision in racing, where even the smallest error can have significant consequences. The accumulation of mistakes race after race is preventing the No. 8 Chevy team from unlocking their full potential in the 2025 season.

Furthermore, Harvick highlighted the inefficiencies of Busch’s pit crew, currently ranked 20th in overall speed. In stark contrast, Bubba Wallace’s crew at 23XI Racing has been the fastest in pit stops. The statistics speak volumes, with the No. 8 team managing just three stops under 10 seconds so far this season, while Wallace’s crew has achieved 18 speedy stops.

The subpar performance of Busch’s team on the track and in the pits has raised concerns about the overall execution and direction within the team. Richard Childress, the team owner, faces the challenge of addressing these issues promptly to steer the team back on course.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Kyle Busch and his team to see if they can overcome these obstacles and make a comeback in the highly competitive world of NASCAR. Will changes in strategy and performance help them rise through the ranks and reclaim their position as top contenders? Only time will tell in this adrenaline-fueled journey of highs and lows on the racetrack.
