Kyle Busch prevê “aumento de desastres e desordem” se Bowman Grey Speedway realizar um evento da NASCAR.

Kyle Busch seems to not be a fan of the potential NASCAR race at Bowman Grey. NASCAR recently took control of the iconic Bowman Grey circuit after acquiring Winston-Salem Speedway Inc. The main stock car racing organization will manage the circuit until 2050 based on the current lease agreement. Following the announcement, rumors emerged about the possibility of the circuit hosting a race in the 2025 season.

Before the COTA Cup race, the two-time NASCAR Cup champion was asked about the prospect of racing at Bowman Grey. Busch, an RCR driver, was not impressed with the proposal and sarcastically commented on the rumors. He expressed that the chaos that would occur at the circuit would provide more entertainment for NASCAR fans.

NASCAR took over as promoter of Bowman Gray Stadium. Cup drivers have expressed various opinions on the potential of racing there. Listen to Busch, Elliott, Keselowski, Dillon, Berry, and Logano:

Busch indirectly makes a strong argument against races at Bowman Grey by praising it. Fans are already frustrated with the excessive contact that occurs in the LA Clash, and the race at BG would likely be even worse. None of the late model races at the circuit have ended without incidents, and the same can be expected.

The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion also shared his thoughts on a potential race at the circuit. He emphasized that a race at Bowman Grey would be similar to the Clash, and he is not a fan of races with excessive crashes. Elliott stated that the circuit is too small for the current Cup cars to race on.

Most NASCAR Cup drivers don’t seem interested in the idea of racing at Bowman Gray with the current Cup car. There is a significant possibility that NASCAR would face embarrassment if they raced at Bowman Gray, as it could turn into a collision fest. Regardless of how fun it might be, it wouldn’t reflect well on the sport if the race unfolded that way.
