Kyle Busch Erupts After Devastating Multi-Car Wreck: “It’s F*cking Killed!

NASCAR Cup Series driver Kyle Busch (8) sits in his garage Friday, July 25, 2025, ahead of practice at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in preparation for the Brickyard 400. Cup practice was cancelled due weather in the area.

Kyle Busch Erupts in Anger After Devastating Crash in Richmond: “It’s F*cking Killed!”

In a shocking turn of events during the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway on August 16, 2025, NASCAR superstar Kyle Busch found himself embroiled in a chaotic multi-car pile-up that left fans gasping and his vehicle severely damaged. The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, who started the race in a disappointing 28th position, was not only battling poor luck but also faced a series of setbacks that compounded his frustration.

As the race unfolded, Busch was already on the back foot, having qualified behind Chase Briscoe, who started in 19th place. The tension escalated during stage two when Busch received a penalty for speeding on pit road, adding further insult to injury. However, the real drama erupted on lap 198 when a nudge from Busch’s #8 Chevy Camaro ZL1 set off a catastrophic chain reaction on the 0.75-mile track.

What was a tense race quickly transformed into utter chaos as Busch’s contact with Briscoe sent the latter spinning into a host of other cars. The collision resulted in a staggering 12-car wreck that not only claimed Busch’s vehicle but also took down some heavy hitters, including Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott, whose day came to a premature end due to severe damage.

Expressing his raw frustration in a moment of candid reflection, Busch did not hold back: “It’s f*cking killed. The nose is killed.” This explosive outburst encapsulated the severity of his misfortune, as he watched his chances for a strong finish evaporate before his eyes. NASCAR insider Kelly Crandall shared this striking moment on social media, amplifying Busch’s sentiments and the chaos that ensued.

In a grim twist of fate, this wasn’t the first time Busch faced calamity this season. In June, at Pocono Raceway, he endured another disastrous day when he got spun out during the Great American Getaway 400. That incident also resulted in a multi-car pile-up, leaving his #8 Chevy battered and unable to regain competitive footing. Reflecting on that race, he lamented, “We just lost the air racing in traffic,” showcasing a pattern of misfortune that has plagued him throughout the season.

Currently, Busch sits 15th in the Cup Series standings with 516 points, having accumulated seven top-ten finishes and two top-five finishes across 24 starts. Despite his admirable performances, the elusive victory remains just out of reach, intensifying the pressure as he vies for a spot in the 2025 playoffs.

Kyle Busch’s relentless pursuit of success continues to be overshadowed by a series of unfortunate events, leaving fans and analysts alike wondering if he can turn the tide before it’s too late. Will this fiery competitor rise from the ashes of his misfortunes, or will the weight of disappointment continue to bear down on him? Only time will tell as the NASCAR season barrels forward.
