There is a chance that Williams could end up in Washington, reuniting with former offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, according to PFF. Kingsbury was initially set to accept the offensive coordinator position with the Las Vegas Raiders, but withdrew from consideration after contract negotiations fell through. It is possible that Kingsbury’s decision was influenced by the opportunity to work with Williams and the Commanders.
The duo had a successful year together at USC, utilizing Kingsbury’s quarterback-friendly system to create magic on the field. Fans would undoubtedly be thrilled if they were to join forces in Washington. However, there is no guarantee of this happening, as the Chicago Bears could potentially select Williams if they decide to move on from the Justin Fields experiment.
