Kimi Antonelli: The Next Max Verstappen? F1 Fans Weigh In!

In a thrilling revelation that’s set the Formula 1 community abuzz, young talent Kimi Antonelli has been crowned as the potential successor to the legendary Max Verstappen. This bold proclamation comes on the heels of an intriguing interview with former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner, who has recently transitioned to a new role in MotoGP. Steiner was posed with the tantalizing question: Who among the current crop of drivers is most likely to replicate Verstappen’s extraordinary success?

In a crowded field of contenders, Steiner mentioned the likes of Isack Hadjar, Gabriel Bortoleto, and Oliver Bearman, yet it was Antonelli who truly stole the spotlight. While Steiner remained noncommittal—stating it was “too early to say” given that these young drivers have only completed one season in F1—the discussion ignited a firestorm of speculation and enthusiasm among fans and analysts alike.

RacingNews365 decided to take matters into their own hands, launching a poll to determine which driver fans believe has the chops to follow in Verstappen’s formidable tire tracks. The results were nothing short of dramatic! Fans rallied behind Antonelli, who garnered a staggering 46.11% of the votes. This overwhelming support solidifies his status as the fan-favorite and the one to watch in the coming seasons.

Not to be left out, Isack Hadjar, who is set to partner with Verstappen at Red Bull this season, trailed significantly behind Antonelli, securing only 23.80% of the vote. Meanwhile, Oliver Bearman, thanks to Steiner’s endorsement, managed to capture 15.90% of the votes, while Bortoleto was left languishing in fourth place with just 8.35%. The less popular contenders, Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto, barely made a dent, with 5.49% and a dismal 0.34% respectively.

This polling frenzy underscores the growing excitement surrounding the next generation of F1 drivers, and fans are clearly eager to see who will emerge as the next superstar. With Antonelli leading the charge, it’s clear that the future of Formula 1 is brimming with potential and promise.

As the engines roar and the competition heats up, all eyes will be on Antonelli and his fellow aspirants. Only time will tell if he can indeed rise to the occasion and carve out a legacy akin to that of Max Verstappen!
