Kia revela o nome da primeira pick-up que chega em 2025

Tasman is the new Kia’s first pick-up that is expected to hit the market in 2025, representing the South Korean brand’s first step into the C segment.

The pick-up’s name, according to Kia, is inspired by the spirit of Tasmania, an island located at the edge of Australia, and “evokes a spirit of adventure and exploration.”

Kia believes that with the Tasman, it will redefine the concept of pick-up and enable a dynamic lifestyle 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, catering to various personal and leisure activities of its users.

It is worth noting that the South Korean brand has been working on the project of a pick-up since 2019, aiming to produce a model that can compete with the most popular models in the segment, such as the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, or even the Isuzu D-Max.

Although Kia has not yet revealed technical details of the new model, everything points to the Tasman being equipped with a turbo diesel four-cylinder 2.2-liter engine already used in some Hyundai and Kia models.
