Kevin Harvick compartilha padrão para Bubba Wallace antes da competição da Copa Kansas.

Bubba Wallace is optimistic about a favorable outcome heading to Kansas. Bubba Wallace and Kevin Harvick entered the 2024 season with the goal of ending their winless streak and securing an early spot in the playoffs with a victory. However, after a good start, he now finds himself outside the top 16 in the points standings, following consecutive DNFs in Talladega and Dover. This week, he is heading to Kansas with hopes of redemption.

Discussing how the race might unfold for the driver of the No.23 Toyota Camry, the 2014 Cup Series champion emphasized that the 2022 victory in Kansas serves as a benchmark for the team in this Sunday’s race. He sees this as a positive for Bubba Wallace and also highlighted the moments of speed he has shown so far.

They see this race as a benchmark to measure their performance. Where does the 23 team stand? This is positive for Bubba. You have witnessed the moments of speed and brilliance that the team is capable of.

Wallace secured his second Cup victory in Kansas in 2022, which was a significant win for him, as his first victory in Talladega happened due to a rain delay. It was also the first track where he secured a pole position. 23XI Racing has won three out of the four races held at the track during the Next-Gen era, giving them an advantage heading into this week.

Unlike his usual behavior, Wallace appeared very mature during his post-DNF interview in Dover. He quickly moved past the disappointment and expressed his willingness to regroup and bounce back this Sunday in Kansas.

23XI Racing, along with JGR and HMS, will be the teams to keep an eye on this weekend. In addition to the crashes, Wallace has consistently shown strength throughout the season. If he can race cleanly and execute well, he can easily compete for the win throughout the race.
