The NASCAR driver, Kevin Harvick, expresses his concern about Kyle Busch’s performance in the year 2024. The two drivers, Busch and Harvick, are depicted together in an image. Richard Childress Racing made the decision to hire Busch from Joe Gibbs Racing in 2023, hoping to regain their past success with him as their leader. Initially, the decision seemed to be the right one, as Busch won three races early in the season. However, as the year progressed, things worsened.

Busch’s performance took a significant decline and he hasn’t been able to secure a victory since then. It’s not solely the driver’s fault for this decline, as RCR hasn’t consistently provided high-performance cars like in the past. Harvick, a former Cup champion, is concerned that the RCR star may miss out on the playoffs this season.

During his podcast, Harvick highlighted that if another driver wins a race this season, Busch will no longer be in contention for the playoffs. This realization left Harvick alarmed. He emphasized the importance for Richard Childress Racing to find some consistency and put an end to their streak of bad luck.

When discussing the same topic, Harvick, a future Hall of Fame member, expressed sympathy for Kyle Busch and lamented how the 2024 season has unfolded for the Chevrolet star. He is concerned not only about the lack of consistency, but also the multiple incidents Busch has been involved in on the track.

“I’ve reached a point where I genuinely feel sorry. I’m starting to feel sorry for Kyle Busch for everything that’s been happening,” said Kevin Harvick.

If Busch doesn’t win a race this season, it will mark the end of his streak of winning at least one Cup race since his full-time debut with HMS. It will be interesting to see how the remaining races of 2024 unfold for the experienced driver and whether Harvick’s concerns will come true.
