“I don’t think we ever see another championship out of Keselowski.”
That’s the blunt assessment from 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick, and it’s not what RFK Racing fans want to hear.
While Brad Keselowski has been instrumental in reviving RFK Racing, Harvick doesn’t see him recapturing his championship form from his Penske Racing days.
“I think one of the big question marks that I have, is Brad Keselowski ever going to get back to what he was at Penske? And I think he’s done a great job at RFK. But as the driver, I think he’s going to continue to make an impact at RFK with structure, organization, racing common sense and all the things that come with that.”
But when it comes to winning another Bill France Cup? Harvick just doesn’t see it happening.
Why Harvick Thinks Keselowski Is No Longer a Title Threat
✅ RFK Racing’s Speed Comes in “Small Pockets”
– Harvick admits RFK has flashes of brilliance but lacks week-to-week dominance.
– A championship run requires consistency, something Keselowski’s No. 6 Ford hasn’t shown.
✅ Chris Buescher Outperforming Keselowski
– In the last two seasons, Buescher has won more races and shown better form.
– RFK’s new third full-time car adds more distractions and challenges for Keselowski.
✅ Keselowski’s Shift in Role—Owner vs. Driver
– Since becoming a co-owner of RFK, Keselowski has had to balance running the team and driving.
– Harvick questions whether he can still focus enough on himself as a driver to return to championship-caliber form.
“Can Brad Keselowski get back to that consistency that he had at Penske? And can he do that as driver and owner? I haven’t seen it yet.”
Can Brad Keselowski Prove Harvick Wrong?
While Harvick’s doubts carry weight, RFK has made significant strides since Keselowski joined in 2022. Last season, Buescher won three races, and Keselowski himself was in contention multiple times.
However, in today’s NASCAR landscape, Penske, Hendrick, and Gibbs remain the biggest title contenders. RFK still isn’t quite there yet.
The Debate: Does Keselowski Have Another Title Run Left?
✅ YES, HE CAN WIN AGAIN
🔹 RFK has improved every year since Keselowski took over.
🔹 He still has the skill and experience to be a title contender.
🔹 Chris Buescher’s rise could push RFK to another level.
❌ NO, HE’S PAST HIS PRIME
🔹 RFK isn’t dominant enough to sustain a title run.
🔹 Being an owner-driver is too much of a distraction.
🔹 Buescher has already surpassed him within his own team.
