Kevin Harvick aposta em Tyler Reddick para vitórias consecutivas em COTA.

Tyler Reddick has been a dominant force in Road Course racing, winning 60% of his races in the Cup Series in this format. As the NASCAR Cup grid heads to Circuit of the Americas in Austin for the first Road Course race of the 2024 season, there is an expectation for another exciting and intense race. With top teams and several skilled drivers in contention, the competition promises to be fierce. Kevin Harvick, the NASCAR Cup champion in 2014, shared his predictions for the race.

Harvick believes that Tyler Reddick, the driver for 23XI Racing who emerged victorious in the same race last season, has what it takes to secure another win. Reddick is highly regarded as one of the best Road Course drivers on the grid, and he will have the advantage of driving one of the best cars from 23XI Racing. Despite some unfortunate results due to bad luck, Reddick has consistently performed well this season, and he is confident that his positive momentum will pay off.

Reflecting on his successful prediction from the previous week, Harvick reiterates his choice of Reddick as the potential winner. He acknowledges that Reddick came close to victory and demonstrated impressive speed on the track. Harvick firmly believes that Reddick is the driver to watch in this race.

Harvick also played a significant role in shaping Reddick’s skills as a Road Course driver. After an incident involving the two drivers in 2020 at the ROVAL, Reddick worked diligently to enhance his racing skills and adapt his unique style accordingly. In a recent interview with Harvick, Reddick openly shared how the champion’s influence contributed to his growth as a driver.

In addition to Reddick, Harvick identifies Ty Gibbs, SVG (Shane van Gisbergen) and AJ Allmendinger as possible competitors in the race. Gibbs, who is seeking his first win in the NASCAR Cup, has already proven to be a skilled Road Course driver. SVG and Allmendinger, both teammates in the Xfinity Series, have exceptional knowledge in circuit racing.

Harvick anticipates an intriguing race with these talented drivers in contention. He believes the competition will be intense and is looking forward to seeing how it unfolds.

Alongside these formidable competitors, familiar faces like Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott from HMS (Hendrick Motorsports) are expected to provide tough competition. Additionally, Michael McDowell from Front Row Motorsports is considered the unpredictable challenger in the race, adding an element of unpredictability.

If you missed it, the next race at the Circuit of the Americas promises to provide excitement and electrifying moments as these skilled drivers battle on the Road Course track.
