Kevin Harvick faz aposta em Kyle Larson para vencer corrida da Cup em Kansas apesar da concorrência da 23XI Racing.

Kevin Harvick predicts lack of surprises this Sunday in Kansas in the NASCAR Cup race. The next race, which marks the 12th of the 2024 season, is expected to show fierce competition among Joe Gibbs Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, and the 23XI Racing team. Former Cup champion Kevin Harvick, on his Happy Hour podcast, made his prediction for the race winner.

Harvick expressed his belief that a Hendrick Motorsports driver will secure their second win of the year in Kansas. He supported his claim by emphasizing the impressive performance of car No. 5 throughout the season. This race holds significance for Kyle Larson, who suffered a defeat in Dover last Sunday, despite having the fastest car at the end.

The 23XI Racing duo, Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick, emerge as Larson’s strongest competitors. Both drivers have already triumphed in Kansas during the Next-Gen era, and 23XI Racing has emerged victorious in three out of four races held at the track in the last two seasons. Larson’s approach to this challenge will certainly be intriguing.

The 2014 Cup champion is returning to the NASCAR Cup Series this season. He is scheduled to drive car No. 5 during the All-Star practice session. This strategic move by Hendrick Motorsports allows Larson to fulfill his responsibilities at the Indy 500.

Larson will participate in the Indy 500 qualifying with Arrow McLaren during the same race week. Consequently, the decision was made to assign the practice session to Harvick. This arrangement not only attracts media attention but also provides valuable insights for the veteran’s upcoming race.

The announcement about this arrangement was made by Kyle Larson during an interview with the Fox broadcast team, which included Harvick, at the Dover race last week. The performance of both drivers in their respective tasks during All-Star week will certainly be captivating.
