The Toyota driver’s performance on Saturday morning was nothing short of spectacular, winning three out of four challenging gravel stages. Rovanpera’s lead, which stood at 4.9 seconds overnight, soared to an impressive 14.7 seconds over his closest rival Thierry Neuville from Hyundai.

However, Rovanpera encountered a setback when a slow puncture threatened to derail his momentum towards the end of stage 13. Despite this unexpected hurdle, Rovanpera remained unfazed and handled the situation with composure, minimizing the impact on his overall performance.

Meanwhile, Neuville put on a commendable display, overcoming challenges such as a loose wheel nut gun and a rear brake issue. The Belgian driver’s resilience and skill were evident as he navigated through the demanding stages, staying competitive and keeping the pressure on Rovanpera.

In the midst of the intense competition at Rally Finland, Adrien Fourmaux emerged as a strong contender for a podium finish, trailing Neuville by a mere 0.3 seconds. The battle for supremacy among the top drivers intensified, promising fans an exhilarating conclusion to the rally.

As the action-packed event unfolds, the stage is set for a thrilling showdown in the remaining stages of the rally. With unpredictable weather adding to the excitement, drivers will need to stay focused and adapt quickly to secure their positions in the standings.

The WRC Rally Finland continues to deliver high-octane thrills and heart-stopping moments, captivating audiences and reaffirming the drivers’ exceptional talents on the challenging terrain.
