Juncos Hollinger Racing unveils bold new look for 2025 IndyCar season, but sponsorship questions loom

Juncos Hollinger Racing (JHR) has revealed a striking new livery for the 2025 NTT IndyCar Series, trading last year’s predominantly black scheme for a fresh white design accented by their signature lime green. The team’s #77 and #78 cars, driven by Sting Ray Robb and Conor Daly respectively, will hit the track with cohesive yet distinct designs that reinforce the team’s branding.

New season, new look

The updated livery emphasizes a cleaner, sleeker appearance. Robb’s car will feature green accents on the Aeroscreen rim, rear fenders, and front wing endplates, while Daly’s car reverses the scheme and adds green touches to the side mirrors.

The designs are a step toward a unified team identity, but they highlight a pressing issue: the absence of prominent sponsors. The sidepods and rear wings remain blank, save for team branding and mandatory series sponsorship logos like Firestone and Chevy.

Sponsorship concerns

JHR’s lack of major sponsorship is a glaring challenge for the team as they prepare for the new season. While team owners Ricardo Juncos and Brad Hollinger have a proven track record of securing late sponsorship deals for select races, the current situation suggests they’ll need similar last-minute agreements to bolster their funding.

Both drivers’ fire suits also reflect the sponsorship gap, featuring few logos beyond those required by the series.

An uphill battle

Despite these concerns, Juncos and Hollinger have demonstrated resourcefulness in recent years, keeping the team competitive in America’s top open-wheel series. The team’s ability to secure race-specific sponsors has been key to maintaining its operations, and they may need to rely on the same strategy for 2025.

Countdown to St. Petersburg

The 2025 IndyCar season kicks off on March 2 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. With just over five weeks until the green flag drops, JHR faces a race against time—not just to fine-tune their cars but to secure the sponsorship necessary to sustain their campaign.

For now, the spotlight will be on JHR’s bold new look, their talented driver lineup, and whether the team can continue to defy the odds and thrive in one of motorsport’s most competitive arenas.
