Despite this, Jos Verstappen believes that Horner’s presence is causing tension within the team and that the situation could escalate if he continues in his role. Jos Verstappen also denied rumors that the Verstappen camp was behind leaks during the investigation, stating that it would not make sense to disrupt the team when Max is performing well. Max Verstappen, while acknowledging Horner’s contribution to the team’s success, did not publicly support him, but emphasized his focus on performance.
