John Elkann diminui a ideia de Charles Leclerc correr pela Ferrari em Le Mans.

Charles Leclerc, a highly skilled driver in the modern Formula 1 grid, has become synonymous with the prestigious Ferrari brand. Since 2019, Leclerc has been competing with Ferrari and has emerged as a prominent leader in their F1 project. Recently, Ferrari President John Elkann discussed the possibility of Leclerc participating in the Le Mans race in the future.

As a globally renowned and historically significant brand, Ferrari competes in various categories of motorsport around the world. In 2023, the Maranello-based team emerged victorious in the Le Mans event and is currently defending their title in this year’s competition.

When asked about the possible inclusion of Leclerc in the Le Mans race, John Elkann emphasized the list of talented Ferrari drivers in different racing categories. He also highlighted the immense responsibility Leclerc has in leading Ferrari towards the F1 world championship, suggesting that shifting his focus to Le Mans would not be ideal.

Although Elkann downplayed the idea of Leclerc participating in Le Mans, he expressed his appreciation for the joy the 26-year-old driver brought to Ferrari during the Monaco race. After several unsuccessful attempts, Leclerc emerged victorious in his home race, securing a seven-second lead over the second-place finisher.

The 2024 F1 season has shown promise for Ferrari, with the team competing in both the constructor’s and driver’s championships. However, maintaining this position will require the collective effort and dedication of the entire team. Despite the setbacks faced by Red Bull, they remain a formidable opponent, and McLaren is steadily closing in on Ferrari with each Grand Prix. With all these factors in mind, the upcoming races promise to be exciting and unmissable events.
