After securing the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Championship, Joey Logano—now firmly cemented in racing lore—is starting to look toward life beyond the track. At 34, with a legacy that boasts multiple championships and a wealth of victories, the Team Penske stalwart has offered a glimpse into his post-retirement ambitions.

Logano’s Post-Retirement Vision

Despite the adrenaline-filled high of his latest championship, Logano appears surprisingly grounded about his future. Speaking candidly, the No. 22 Ford driver revealed plans to dive into ventures that transcend the racing world.

“I think doing other things is important. I like playing in some real estate stuff. We’ve got the production company that I’m a part of. I like trying to prove to myself that I’m not just a one-trick pony,” Logano shared.

The reigning champion seems intent on channeling his competitive spirit into arenas like real estate and media production, potentially laying the foundation for a career that mirrors his adaptability on the racetrack. For fans, the thought of seeing Logano lead a real estate venture or helm a production studio paints an intriguing post-retirement narrative.

Retirement Still on the Horizon

While Logano’s post-racing plans are coming into focus, his immediate future remains tethered to Team Penske. With a contract firmly in place and a strong relationship with team owner Roger Penske, Logano is not stepping away anytime soon.

“I know I’m doing this for a few years, for sure. As long as Roger [Penske] wants me in the contract, I think we’re, you know, we continue going,” Logano affirmed.

This sentiment reinforces Logano’s commitment to building on his already monumental career, with the possibility of adding more titles to his collection before eventually hanging up his helmet.

The Championship Battle Ahead

Logano’s teammate and championship runner-up, Ryan Blaney, poses an imminent threat to his plans for further dominance. Blaney, separated by mere tenths in the 2024 finale, is hungry to stake his own claim at the top of NASCAR’s elite. Their brewing rivalry promises to make the 2025 season a fierce duel within Team Penske, as younger drivers also aim to disrupt their supremacy.

A Legacy in Progress

For now, Joey Logano’s focus remains on racing, but his post-retirement blueprint hints at a versatile and impactful future. Whether it’s expanding into business, media, or other ventures, Logano’s ambitions reflect his drive to excel beyond the NASCAR circuit.

As the 2025 season looms, fans can savor watching Logano continue his championship pursuits while imagining the dynamic role he may play after racing. If his career on the track is any indication, expect Logano to make just as much of a splash off it.
