Joey Logano pede grandes mudanças da NASCAR para melhorar corridas em pistas curtas.

Joey Logano claims that NASCAR should implement changes to the Next-Generation cars to improve racing on short tracks. The Cook Out 400 race at Martinsville Speedway highlighted the challenges faced by the Next-Gen cars on short tracks. The race lacked exciting battles between cars and all participants seemed to have the same tire strategy. Drivers also struggled with limited passing opportunities and traffic congestion.

After disappointing races at Martinsville and Richmond, Team Penske driver Joey Logano demanded a solution to these issues during his interview on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. He urged NASCAR to improve the Next-Gen car package and emphasized the need for increased power.

Joey Logano also expressed his willingness to participate in various tests to address the problems faced by Next-Gen cars on short tracks. However, only time will tell if his suggestions and appeals to NASCAR will result in changes and significant improvements.

During the Cook Out 400, most drivers in the top 10 followed the same strategy and race plan. As a result, there was a lack of side-by-side action and competitiveness. Joey Logano, agreeing with others, criticized NASCAR for the similarities between cars in the Next-Gen package.

Joey Logano further elaborated on this issue during his interview on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. He stated that, from the start of the race, drivers were able to drive freely without worrying about managing their tires, as passing was nearly impossible due to the car specifications.

Despite achieving a decent result with a sixth place, Joey Logano emphasized that it’s not fun to race without overtaking. Many drivers share the same concerns about the Next-Gen cars, and only time will tell if NASCAR can address and improve these issues.
