Revolutionary Move: Young Talent Jesse Love Secures Two Thrilling Cup Races with Beard Motorsports
In a groundbreaking announcement, Beard Motorsports revealed the inclusion of two exhilarating NASCAR Cup Series races to its lineup, featuring the exceptional 20-year-old NASCAR Xfinity Series sensation, Jesse Love, taking the wheel of the No. 62 Chevrolet.
Hailing from the powerhouse Richard Childress Racing team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Love is set to command the Beard entry on May 4 at the renowned Texas Motor Speedway and then at the iconic Brickyard 400 on July 27 at the illustrious Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
This strategic move signifies a momentous occasion for the family-owned team, marking its triumphant return to Texas and Indianapolis since its remarkable Cup Series debut back in 2017, under the visionary leadership of the late Mark Beard Sr. The legacy continues under the astute ownership of Linda Beard, with her children Amie Beard-Deja and Mark Beard Jr. at the helm of daily operations.
With a track record of 30 Cup Series appearances under their belt, Beard Motorsports has predominantly competed at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. However, the team has also made waves at tracks like Atlanta Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval, Daytona road course, and their home turf, Michigan International Speedway.
In a thrilling lead-up to next month’s Würth 400 at Texas, the No. 62 Beard Chevrolet will make a pit stop at the April 27 Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega with driver Anthony Alfredo and primary sponsor Fortify Building Solutions.
Executive Vice President of Beard Motorsports, Amie Beard-Deja, expressed her enthusiasm about the expansion of their racing program, stating, “We are very excited to be able to expand our racing program and visit tracks that are new to us. When my dad started this program, we wanted to focus on the superspeedways. Our plan was to make that our niche and to do it well.”
The inclusion of the young prodigy Jesse Love in their lineup comes as no surprise, given his exceptional track record and impressive performance in the Xfinity Series. Love’s Cup Series debut at Bristol was a defining moment in his career, and now, with the support of the Beard family, he is geared up to tackle the challenges at Texas and Indianapolis.
Reflecting on his upcoming races, Love remarked, “The goals are to keep collecting experience and learning the Cup car. Both races at Texas and Indy will allow me to gain knowledge of how this car races at different tracks, which will hopefully set me up to pounce on future opportunities.”
Accompanying Love and the No. 62 Beard Chevrolet on this adrenaline-fueled journey will be none other than C4 Energy, adding an extra boost to their already formidable team.
As Beard Motorsports gears up for these high-octane events, the racing world eagerly anticipates the electrifying performances that Jesse Love is set to deliver on the grand stage of the NASCAR Cup Series.
