Jeep reforça gama Avenger com versão Mild-hybrid de 48V e tração integral

Recognized for its legacy of adventure and innovation, Jeep has just introduced the latest addition to its electric range, the new Avenger 4xe with all-wheel drive and 48V Mild-hybrid technology, to provide a better electrified off-road performance.

Thus, the 4xe variant now has a version with all-wheel drive system, which combines a thermal engine with 136 hp of power with two electric motors of 21 kW (28 hp) each, capable of activating both axles and ensuring an available torque of 1900 Nm on the rear wheels. Benefiting from “power looping” technology, the new Avenger 4xe ensures all-wheel drive, regardless of the battery’s charge state.

The new Avenger 48V Mild Hybrid system allows for fully electric driving at low speeds, thanks to the combination of the 6-speed e-DCS6 dual-clutch automatic transmission with the integrated electric motor.

Like the front-wheel drive version, the new Avenger 4xe with all-wheel drive features a compact design, and the brand has already announced that orders for the new model will be open until the end of 2024.

“The new Jeep Avenger 4xe represents a turning point for the brand. The latest version of our successful model combines the compact format and versatility of the Avenger with the performance of the all-wheel drive system. The result is an unparalleled aptitude for a more dynamic driving experience. The new Avenger 4xe completes the Jeep brand’s offer of 4×4 SUVs in all segments.”, said Eric Laforge, Director of the Jeep brand in Europe.
