Jeep revealed the first image of the third generation of the Compass this Monday, which will go into production next year.
Based on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, similar to the Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland, the new generation of the Compass will be available with all-wheel drive and a wide range of powertrain options, from hybrid to 100% electric, as well as internal combustion engines.
The image now revealed suggests that the new Compass will have a more muscular appearance while retaining the square wheel arches, just like its predecessor.
Jeep has promised that the new generation of the Compass will offer “accessible capability, superior performance, and advanced technology,” suggesting sophisticated infotainment features and driver assistance systems.
The production of the third generation of the Compass will take place at Stellantis’ factory in Melfi, Italy, in 2025, with the new model expected to arrive in the European market next year, and its launch in North America and other global markets scheduled for 2026.
