To celebrate one million units sold in Europe, Jeep has decided to add the special edition North Star to its Renegade and Compass ranges, a variant that embodies the spirit of adventure and the resilience for which the American brand is known.
Both models of this special edition are exclusively equipped with hybrid powertrains, with traditional engines not being available. By offering only the Hybrid 48V variants, with 128 hp, and the 4xe plug-in hybrid, with all-wheel drive and 237 hp, the North Star series adopts the brand’s latest hybrid technology.
The North Star editions are equipped with roof bars that offer additional load versatility, LED fog lights, black logos, and dedicated badges that highlight the unique identity of this special edition, complemented by tinted windows, black 18” wheels on the Compass and 17” on the Renegade, front and rear parking sensors, as well as a system for assisting with parallel and perpendicular parking.
Additionally, the North Star special edition of the Renegade and Compass features a body with a two-tone color scheme. The dominant black color highlights the unique details of this edition. Complementing the black is a specific paint color called Technogreen, a dark metallic green. This shade integrates with the black details on the exterior and extends to the interior, where green accents can be seen in the dashboard trim and in the fabric with contrasting stitching.
Also noteworthy is the standard two-panel sunroof, usually finished in black to contrast with the Technogreen shade.
