Jannik Sinner revela interesse em assistir a corridas se sua agenda permitir durante conversa com Carlos Sainz em Monte Carlo.

Carlos Sainz and Jannik Sinner had a fantastic start to their respective careers. Sainz, now ranked as the second best in the world, dominated his opponent 6-1, 6-2 in the second round of the tournament. This was his first match on clay court this season, following his recent victory in Miami. Despite having only a week to adapt to the surface, Sainz’s performance has been exceptional, with 23 wins in 24 matches this season.

Sainz’s success has made him a strong contender for the title, already having won three titles in four events in Monte Carlo. As his popularity grows, he attracts the attention of other athletes who are eager to meet him. Being held in Monaco, the tournament attracts athletes from various sports who come to enjoy some tennis action.

One of the athletes who visited this year was Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz. Currently driving for Ferrari, Sainz’s visit to Monte Carlo provided the opportunity to meet Jannik Sinner. The Italian tennis player expressed his desire to attend Formula 1 races, but attributed his inability to do so to the busy tennis schedule, which usually extends until late November. The Formula 1 season ends in the first week of December, making it challenging for tennis players to find time to watch the races.

Jannik Sinner, who recently won the Davis Cup for Italy, has gained even more popularity. Formula 1 recognized this as an opportunity and hired him as a ‘Friend of F1’, hoping to leverage his fame to attract more fans to the sport of motor racing. In his new role, Sinner will attend specific races to promote the sport, which excites him, considering his long-standing admiration for Ferrari.

The next challenge for Sinner in Monte Carlo will be against German player Jan-Lennard Struff. This match will be a rematch of their encounter in Indian Wells earlier this year, where Sinner emerged victorious. Struff, who defeated another opponent in the first round, will be seeking redemption. Sinner currently leads their head-to-head record by 1-0.
