Three-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick is set to make history once again, this time as the Grand Marshal for the 63rd annual Rolex 24 at Daytona. The announcement, confirmed by Rolex, positions Chadwick as the face of one of motorsport’s most prestigious endurance races.

A Historic Honor

As the Grand Marshal, Chadwick will deliver the iconic command to start engines for the twice-around-the-clock race at Daytona International Speedway. The appointment is a testament to her illustrious career and growing influence in global motorsport.

“It is an honor to be Grand Marshal of the Rolex 24 at Daytona,” Chadwick said. “As the spiritual home of Rolex and motorsport, I am looking forward to reflecting on the history while watching some great racing. I’m excited to be involved and hope to join the line-up at Daytona in the future.”

From W Series Champion to Endurance Racing Pioneer

Chadwick’s appointment comes as she continues to make waves in motorsport. In 2024, she became the first woman in 14 years to win a race in the Indy NXT series, showcasing her versatility and determination. For 2025, she will compete in the European Le Mans Series LMP2 class with IDEC Sport, as part of a collaboration with Genesis ahead of its Hypercar debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2026.

Chadwick’s racing resume is as diverse as it is impressive. Before dominating the W Series, she claimed the 2015 British GT Championship GT4 title. Her enduring success across disciplines underscores her talent and adaptability, making her an ideal ambassador for Rolex and the sport.

Daytona International Speedway’s Endorsement

Frank Kelleher, president of Daytona International Speedway, praised Chadwick’s appointment: “Jamie Chadwick is a true ambassador for global motorsport and the perfect representative to serve as Grand Marshal. Jamie has been a champion on the track since her earliest days of racing, and she has been at the forefront of promoting inclusivity in racing throughout her career.”

Rolex 24: A Perfect Stage for Chadwick

The Rolex 24 at Daytona, known as one of the world’s premier endurance races, represents the intersection of precision, resilience, and teamwork—qualities Chadwick embodies. Her role as Grand Marshal not only cements her status as a motorsport icon but also highlights her commitment to inspiring future generations of racers.

What’s Next for Chadwick?

While her presence at Daytona will be as a ceremonial leader, Chadwick hinted at her ambition to one day compete in the iconic race. With her ongoing success in endurance racing and her ties to Genesis’ Hypercar project, a future entry at Daytona seems more a question of “when” than “if.”
