Jak Crawford steals the show at 2025 F1 Abu Dhabi test: can Aston Martin dominate?

Thrilling Showdown at Yas Marina: Jak Crawford Reigns Supreme in Post-Season F1 Test!

In a breathtaking display of speed and skill, Jak Crawford has emerged victorious at the 2025 Formula 1 post-season test held at the iconic Yas Marina Circuit. Driving for Aston Martin, Crawford clocked in with an astonishing time that left spectators on the edge of their seats—just shy of a tenth of a second faster than his closest rival, Paul Aron, who represented Stake/Audi.

What unfolded during this nine-hour marathon was nothing short of sensational, as five reserve drivers dominated the time sheets, showcasing the fierce competition brewing in the F1 ranks. Luke Browning, who had held the lead at the day’s midpoint, ultimately secured a commendable third place for Williams, demonstrating his prowess on the track.

But the excitement didn’t stop there! Kimi Antonelli, the first established F1 driver to make his mark, settled into sixth place, proving that the veterans still have plenty to offer. The mid-pack was teeming with talent, featuring the likes of Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton, and the newly-crowned world champion, Lando Norris, all vying for supremacy in a tightly contested session.

Among the noteworthy moments was Isack Hadjar’s eagerly awaited debut behind the wheel of a Red Bull. With news of his promotion for the 2026 season creating a buzz, Hadjar concluded the day in 21st place, hinting at the potential that lies ahead for this rising star.

As the engines cool and the checkered flags fall, this pivotal test marks the final chapter of on-track action for the year. The F1 world now pivots its focus towards the upcoming season, bracing for an array of fresh technical regulations that promise to revolutionize the sport.

Stay tuned as the excitement unfolds—this test was just a taste of the high-octane drama that awaits in the new season!
