Jack William Miller is stepping up his game for the 2025 Indy NXT season, joining Abel Motorsports as part of the team’s expanded four-car lineup. After an uphill battle last year running with Miller Vinatieri Motorsports, the 21-year-old will now benefit from the resources and experience of a multi-car team—a move that could prove to be a game-changer in his road to IndyCar.
A New Chapter: Miller Gains Teammates for First Time in Career
Miller, the son of former IndyCar driver Jack Miller, has mostly raced solo throughout his career, making his 2025 move a huge step forward.
“I’m pumped to be joining Abel Motorsports with Miller Vinatieri Motorsports for 2025,” Miller said. “Coming up through the ranks, I haven’t really had a teammate. It’s mainly been me—which can be awesome but does have its challenges.”
In his rookie season with MVM, Miller struggled against bigger teams with more resources and shared data. Now, he’ll have three fast teammates to learn from—Myles Rowe, Callum Hedge, and Jordan Missig—as all four drivers chase their IndyCar dreams.
“This year, having Myles, Callum, Jordan, and the entire Abel Motorsports group around me, and additional data points to look at will be huge,” Miller added.
Abel Motorsports Continues Its Rapid Growth
Abel Motorsports, led by team owner Bill Abel, has expanded from a single-car program in 2022 to a four-car powerhouse in 2025. Adding Miller to the roster is another step in the right direction for the growing team.
“Jack brings not only talent to our team, but the experience and knowledge of the Indy NXT series, which will just continue to help the group as a whole,” Abel said.
The team’s progress has been nothing short of remarkable.
“Where we are today in 2025 with four full-time drivers, compared to when we started in 2022 with just one car, is amazing,” Abel continued. “It speaks volumes to the group we have at Abel Motorsports, and what this team is capable of—not only in 2025 but in the future too.”
A Turning Point for Miller?
With a more competitive environment and expanded resources, 2025 could be Miller’s breakout season. Now backed by a well-established operation, he has the tools to prove he belongs in the conversation for an IndyCar future.
