In a heart-pounding display of skill and determination, Andrea Mabellini steals the show at Rally Hungary, leaving his competitors in the dust! Behind the wheel of a Pirelli-equipped Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, Mabellini dominated the challenging gravel stages, clinching the lead with a 10.6-second advantage over Roope Korhonen from Team MRF Tyres.

Mabellini’s journey to the top was not without its hurdles. Co-driver Virginia Lenzi faced discomfort after a rough landing, but the duo pushed through, showcasing their unwavering resilience. Despite fierce competition from Korhonen, Mabellini’s strategic driving and lightning-fast pace secured his well-deserved lead.

Meanwhile, last year’s Rally Hungary champion, Simone Tempestini, fought valiantly to keep pace with the leaders, finishing the day in a commendable third place. The competition heated up as Miko Marczyk and Mads Østberg battled for the remaining podium positions, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

In the ERC3 category, Tristan Charpentier showcased his prowess, leading the pack with a commanding two-minute lead. Opel Motorsport’s Calle Carlberg dominated the Junior ERC and ERC4 standings, proving his mettle on the challenging rally stages.

With each twist and turn, Rally Hungary proved to be a test of skill, speed, and sheer determination. As the drivers gear up for the next leg of the competition, all eyes are on Mabellini as he aims to maintain his lead and emerge victorious in this thrilling rally showdown. Stay tuned for more high-octane action as the battle for supremacy continues to unfold on the dusty trails of Rally Hungary!
