Isack Hadjar Shines Bright as He Credits Racing Bulls for His Skyrocketing F1 Ascent

In a thrilling twist in the world of Formula 1, Isack Hadjar has boldly acknowledged the pivotal role Racing Bulls played in his extraordinary rise through the ranks, as he gears up for his monumental debut with the Red Bull Racing team in 2026. Hadjar’s ascent has left fans and the Red Bull hierarchy awestruck, culminating in the electrifying announcement that he will partner with none other than Max Verstappen, a move that has set the motorsport community abuzz.

This groundbreaking announcement puts an end to months of speculation and intrigue, as Hadjar officially takes the seat previously held by Yuki Tsunoda, who is now transitioning to a reserve and development role. With expectations sky-high, Hadjar is acutely aware of the pressure that comes with the notorious second seat at Red Bull, a position historically fraught with challenges for many drivers.

A product of Red Bull’s esteemed junior program, Hadjar honed his skills with the satellite Faenza-based team, and he couldn’t be more grateful. “I couldn’t have wished for a better team to start my F1 career with,” he stated, highlighting the nurturing environment that helped him take monumental steps in his debut season.

The rookie driver did not shy away from giving credit where it’s due—he acknowledged the invaluable guidance of Pierre Gasly, another Red Bull alumnus, who played a crucial role in easing his transition to the fast-paced world of Formula 1. “I owe it to Pierre. We spent most of the winter together,” Hadjar explained, reflecting on how Gasly’s mentorship was instrumental in preparing him for the challenges ahead. His confidence surged as he remarked, “That’s why I adapted very quickly.”

This year has been nothing short of transformative for Hadjar. From a driver who initially appeared timid and uncertain outside the car, he has evolved into a full-fledged Red Bull driver in the span of just one season. His initial nerves stemmed from a lack of experience, but he quickly reassured himself, stating, “I told myself this for a while and after the first couple of races, I was like, ‘yeah, OK, I got this. It’s going to be easy’.”

Despite a rocky start that included an embarrassing crash during the formation lap of his first race, Hadjar’s confidence solidified during his first practice session in Melbourne. “I was fast. I was like, ‘yeah, OK. Actually, I got this’,” he recounted, confirming that he felt right at home among the elite drivers. His impressive performance culminated in his first points finish in Japan, proving that he is more than ready to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.

As the motorsport world eagerly anticipates Hadjar’s debut alongside Verstappen, one thing is clear: Isack Hadjar has proven himself to be a rising star in Formula 1, and with the guidance of Racing Bulls, he is poised to leave an indelible mark on the sport. The countdown to 2026 begins now—will Hadjar rise to the occasion, or will the weight of expectations prove too heavy? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain: the future of this young driver looks extraordinarily bright.
