Red Bull’s Future in Turmoil: Isack Hadjar Eyes Tsunoda’s Seat in Bold F1 Move!

In a stunning revelation that could shake the very foundations of Red Bull Racing, rising star Isack Hadjar has boldly suggested that swapping places with Yuki Tsunoda for the final races of the 2025 season could be a “good idea” that would bolster his preparations for the pivotal F1 2026 season. Hadjar, who has already made a name for himself in this year’s campaign, culminating in a thrilling podium finish at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, is positioning himself as a serious contender for a coveted seat alongside Max Verstappen in the upcoming season.

As the clock ticks down on Tsunoda’s tenure, his performance has been less than stellar, with the Japanese driver managing to score points in only four out of sixteen races since stepping in for Liam Lawson. With Red Bull’s successful partnership with Honda coming to a close at the end of this season, Tsunoda’s future hangs precariously in the balance—a situation that Hadjar is ready to exploit.

Hadjar made headlines as he expressed eagerness to step into Tsunoda’s shoes before the season wraps up, stating, “I think that would be beneficial. If I’m 100% sure and I get the opportunity to take some advance [opportunity], then yes.” Yet, he also acknowledged the challenges of transitioning to a “completely new car next year,” suggesting that while a late-season swap could provide valuable experience, it might ultimately be “pointless.”

The stakes are high as Helmut Marko, Red Bull’s influential advisor, hinted that decisions regarding the F1 2026 driver lineup would be made soon after the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix. In response to Marko’s comments, Hadjar remained unfazed, insisting that his focus remains unwavering: “When you’re trapped in the car and I drive, I really don’t think about something else than just doing the best I can do.”

The implications of Tsunoda’s potential exit are significant. With rumors swirling about a move to Aston Martin—where he could serve as a reserve driver in a new technical partnership with Honda—Tsunoda’s fate could be decided sooner than expected. Aston Martin has confirmed that their current race drivers, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, are locked in until the end of 2026, but the team remains tight-lipped about any further personnel changes.

Hadjar’s ambitions are clear. He has long dreamt of racing for Red Bull, stating, “Since I joined the Red Bull program, the target was always to be a Red Bull driver.” As the season progresses and tensions mount, the spotlight is firmly on Hadjar and Tsunoda, with fans eagerly anticipating the next twist in this gripping saga.

As we approach the climax of the F1 2025 season, one thing is certain: Isack Hadjar is ready to seize any opportunity that comes his way, and Red Bull’s future could be transformed in an instant. Will the young prodigy get his chance, or will Tsunoda find a way to turn his fortunes around? The answer could redefine the trajectory of both drivers as we hurtle towards 2026!
