Isack Hadjar: Racing without Pressure but Still Hungry for Glory

In the cutthroat world of Formula 1, where every millisecond counts, Isack Hadjar is racing into the future with a newfound sense of security—yet his hunger for success remains insatiable. After Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko officially announced Hadjar’s seat within the Red Bull family for the 2026 season, the young driver has expressed relief at having a secure spot in such a prestigious racing team. However, this does not mean he’s taking his foot off the gas.

Hadjar, who has made waves with his remarkable performances this season, acknowledged the shift in his mental landscape since the announcement. “It’s a good position to be in,” he told reporters, reflecting on the pressure that has typically defined his racing career. Without the constant need to prove himself, he admits that it’s an entirely new experience: “It definitely takes out a bit of pressure,” he remarked, adding, “If anything, I always enjoy the pressure. I feel like it’s when I’m delivering at my best level.”

But make no mistake—this young talent is not resting on his laurels. Racing under the banner of the Racing Bulls, Hadjar has consistently outperformed expectations, earning him a maiden podium at the Zandvoort Grand Prix. While his future is secure, he remains fiercely competitive. “Let’s see how I handle the last few races,” he stated emphatically. “But I’m always going to push very hard and take risks.”

The upcoming 2026 season is already buzzing with speculation, as Hadjar’s eventual seat has yet to be confirmed. Will he partner reigning champion Max Verstappen, who’s locked in until 2028, or will he stay at Racing Bulls? With rumors swirling about Arvid Lindblad potentially taking a seat, the pressure is on for fellow drivers Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda, both of whom find their futures uncertain.

Hadjar’s impressive rookie season in 2025 has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with, navigating the complex challenges of F1 alongside some of the best. Many rookies have struggled, but Hadjar stands out, demonstrating both resilience and skill. His ambition is palpable as he approaches the final races of the season, determined to finish strong and make a lasting impression.

As the Formula 1 landscape continues to evolve, one thing is clear: Isack Hadjar is a name that fans and competitors alike will be watching closely. With his future secured but his eyes set firmly on the prize, this young star is ready to race into history—with or without the pressure.
