Nico Rosberg Warns Rising Star Isack Hadjar: “Reject Red Bull Offer!”
Formula 1’s rising talent, Isack Hadjar, has been turning heads with his stellar performance on the track, but former World Champion Nico Rosberg is adamant that he should steer clear of a potential promotion to Red Bull.
Hadjar, a Red Bull Junior Team graduate, has impressed in his debut F1 season, currently sitting ninth in the Drivers’ Championship after scoring 21 points in the opening nine rounds. Red Bull’s senior advisor, Helmut Marko, has been vocal about his astonishment at Hadjar’s speed and consistency, sparking speculations about a promotion to the senior team.
However, Rosberg has a clear message for the young driver – decline the offer. In an interview with Sky F1, Rosberg emphasized, “If I was Hadjar now, if ever the team starts to mention [a promotion], I would literally decline. Like, decline as hard as you possibly can.”
The debate around Hadjar’s potential promotion has been fueled by Yuki Tsunoda’s struggles to match Max Verstappen’s performance since joining Red Bull. Despite the team’s efforts to adjust Tsunoda’s car to his liking, the Japanese driver has only scored seven points, raising questions about Red Bull’s ability to support their drivers effectively.
Verstappen, on the other hand, continues to dominate the championship standings, with a fifth consecutive title within reach. However, with the Dutchman accumulating penalty points, there is a possibility that Hadjar could step in if Verstappen faces a race ban.
As speculations mount about Hadjar’s future, one thing is certain – the young driver has a tough decision ahead regarding a potential Red Bull promotion. Will he heed Rosberg’s advice and focus on his current success, or will he take the leap to challenge the best in the sport? The F1 world eagerly awaits his next move.
