IndyCar reveals the start of the second installment of the 100 Days to Indy initiative.

The NTT IndyCar Series has officially announced that the reality TV show ‘100 Days to Indy’ will be returning for a second season this spring. The show will consist of six episodes and will follow the drivers both on and off the track as they prepare for ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.’ The CW Network will be airing the series in the United States, and a production crew will be capturing the most significant storylines of the year. This includes Josef Newgarden’s pursuit of a second victory and Marcus Ericsson’s impressive finishes in the last two events. Additionally, NASCAR champion Kyle Larson will be making his debut at the Indy 500 with Arrow McLaren and will also attempt to participate in the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. Penske Entertainment President & CEO Mark Miles expressed his excitement about the upcoming season, stating that the Indy 500 offers an unmatched level of excitement and intensity. He believes that The CW will once again provide viewers with a front-row seat to witness the charismatic stars of the NTT IndyCar Series as they strive for racing glory. The Indy 500 will be the sixth race of the season, with an exhibition round featuring a $1 million prize taking place on March 24. The show will follow a similar timeline, with each episode covering a race weekend leading up to the Indy 500. The goal is to have short production times, allowing most episodes to air before the race on May 26. The final episode will focus on the iconic Indy 500 itself. Brad Schwartz, president of entertainment at The CW Network, expressed his excitement about bringing another season of ‘100 Days to Indy’ to viewers. He emphasized that the first season provided fans with an unprecedented look into the lives and preparations of the drivers, making it even more thrilling when Josef Newgarden emerged as the winner of last year’s Indy 500. Schwartz looks forward to another season of intense competition and high-speed racing action. Season one of ‘100 Days to Indy’ will soon be available on the Paramount+ streaming platform starting on February 16.
