IndyCar Barber – Qualification Results

Scott McLaughlin secured his sixth pole position in the IndyCar race. The battle for pole came down to the final corner of the 15-lap Barber Motorsports Park, where McLaughlin narrowly beat his teammate to claim the top spot. Will Power seemed poised to take pole, but McLaughlin saved his best lap for last and crossed the finish line with a time of 1:05.9490, just 0.097 seconds faster than Power. Christian Lundgaard finished in third place, followed by Pato O’Ward in fourth and Felix Rosenqvist in fifth. Marcus Armstrong made it to the Fast Six session but couldn’t improve on his sixth position. Graham Rahal expressed frustration with his team, believing that better communication could have helped him advance to the Fast Six. He will start in seventh place. The Alabama Kids Grand Prix will take place on Sunday afternoon at 12:30 pm central time, promising an intense race on the challenging corners for the entire field of 27 cars.
