Incredible Achievements for Haas in Bahrain: Ocon and Bearman Secure Points, Claim P5 in Constructors’ Championship

Haas Racing team experienced a rollercoaster of emotions during the Bahrain Grand Prix, with Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman defying the odds and clinching points for the team. Despite a challenging qualifying session that saw Bearman starting from the back and Ocon spinning off track, both drivers showcased exceptional performances during the race, securing a spot in the top 10 once again.

Ocon’s impressive comeback from a disappointing 18th place finish in Japan to an 8th place in Bahrain left fans in awe. The French driver expressed his satisfaction with his performance, stating, “I am very happy for the team because on Saturday I let them down by making that mistake when the car had more potential. I had to make up for it. Everything worked as expected in the race; we had a great start and adopted an aggressive strategy to fight for points. From there, it was the maximum we could do, and I am proud of what we achieved.”

Meanwhile, Bearman’s outstanding race included an impressive climb of ten positions from the back of the grid, marking his third consecutive points finish and second 10th place. The British driver reflected on his performance, saying, “It was a tough race, especially in the last 20 laps after the safety car. I was under pressure to maintain my position with the Mercedes behind me and to fight ahead. I am very happy to have scored a point for the team after yesterday’s very difficult qualifying. It was a bit lucky to have the safety car, but I felt very strong in the first stint.”

With this remarkable performance, Haas Racing now sits in an impressive 5th place in the Constructors’ Championship standings, showcasing their determination and potential in the fiercely competitive world of Formula 1. The team and fans alike are eagerly anticipating the upcoming races, hoping to see Ocon and Bearman continue their impressive form and secure more valuable points for the team.
