Hyundai quer lançar automóvel elétrico abaixo dos €20 mil na Europa

Hyundai is preparing to launch an affordable electric model in Europe, priced below €20,000, which could very well be the 100% electric version of the Casper, which is expected to go into production in July.

According to “Automotive News Europe”, the Hyundai Casper is currently sold in South Korea, but only with a gasoline engine, and the brand may now choose to bring the fully electric variant to Europe to compete with the Dacia Spring, Citroën ë-C3, or even the future Renault Twingo.

Everything indicates that the new electric Casper will be produced at the Gwangju factory in South Korea, where the gasoline version is currently manufactured, and the South Korean press has already reported that the new model is expected to be equipped with an LFP (lithium-iron-phosphate) battery, which is more affordable and has a range of up to 300 kilometers.
