Hyundai Santa Fe vence prémio de Carro Mundial Feminino de 2025

The new Hyundai Santa Fe has won the Car of the Year 2025 award at the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY), surpassing 6 finalists selected from an initial pool of 81 candidates.

The announcement was made this Thursday by a jury composed of 88 female automotive journalists from 55 countries across five continents, including the Portuguese journalist Carla Ribeiro from Jorna Público.

The Hyundai Santa Fe succeeds the Kia EV9, which was the winner of the 2024 edition, and stood out for its design as well as its excellence in safety, driving, technology, comfort, efficiency, environmental impact, value for money, and gender equality.

Before the selection of the winner of the 15th edition of the Women’s Car of the Year, the jury had chosen the winners of the six categories from the 81 cars nominated for the final award. The Mini Cooper won the title of best city car, while the Kia EV3 was the best among compact SUVs. Among popular SUVs, the Hyundai Santa Fé stood out as the winner of the Large SUV category.

The Audi A6 e-tron won the executive cars category, while the Toyota Land Cruiser took the 4X4 and Pickup category. Meanwhile, the Porsche Panamera was the winner among sports cars.
