Robôs da Hyundai entram ao serviço no aeroporto da Coreia do Sul

The race towards electric mobility with artificial intelligence has allowed companies to develop innovative projects.

This is the case for Hyundai, which has now announced that it will provide automatic electric vehicle charging robots (ACR) based on artificial intelligence (AI) for Incheon International Airport, South Korea, under a strategic agreement.

In this way, the airport infrastructure will leverage Hyundai’s advanced robotics and artificial intelligence expertise to streamline the charging of electric vehicles and accommodate the expected passenger flow following the fourth phase of the airport’s expansion and the transformation of the space into an ‘AI aviation innovation hub.’

“This collaboration will serve as a significant milestone in assessing the practical benefits of future mobility technologies, combining the robotics and Artificial Intelligence capabilities of the Hyundai Motor Group with the extensive operational experience of Incheon International Airport Corporation”, said Heui Won Yang, president and director of the R&D division at Hyundai.

By providing safe and uninterrupted automatic charging of electric vehicles, the partners will work to make Incheon International Airport a model of innovation and efficiency in sustainable transportation, while also seeking to expand the services of automatic electric vehicle charging robots in global transportation infrastructures, promoting future mobility solutions.

Remember that ACR was developed by Hyundai to operate reliably in all environments, regardless of the location of the charger, as well as the weather and possible obstacles.
