The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N won the iconic 103rd edition of the “Pikes Peak International Hill Climb” in the United States, in a climb that was shortened due to weather conditions.
After achieving two records in the 2024 edition, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N returned to the “Race to the Clouds,” as it is known, with driver Robert Walker from Evasive Motorsports at the wheel for a demonstration, once again showcasing the performance of Hyundai’s 100% electric sports car, even under adverse conditions and confirming the benchmark established in previous editions.
Despite the shortened course and challenging circumstances, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N rose to the challenge, completing the climb in 4 minutes and 23.858 seconds, securing victory in the Exhibition category.
It is worth noting that the Ioniq 5 N is the first 100% electric model from the N performance sub-brand, designed to provide a true emotional connection to the driver in the era of electrification.
Equipped with two electric motors that, in N Grin Boost mode, offer a combined power of up to 650 hp and 770 Nm of torque, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
Beyond high performance, the Ioniq 5 N is equipped with the N e-Shift system, which simulates the gear shifts and engine braking typical of combustion models, providing a more immersive and emotional driving experience.
Additionally, the N Active Sound+ system with 10 speakers simulates the sounds of the engine and gear shifts, creating an environment that emulates driving a competition car.
