Hyundai has announced a collaboration with the popular racing video game from Gameloft, “Asphalt Legends Unite,” which will allow players to feature the Ioniq 5 N as well as the concept N Vision 74.
The well-known video game, available on various platforms, enjoys great popularity worldwide, and since the beginning of April, players have been able to drive the 100% electric high-performance Ioniq 5 N and the Hyundai N Vision 74 concept car, a hybrid electric vehicle with a hydrogen fuel cell.
Until the end of April, Hyundai is organizing an event featuring both vehicles, where the fastest player will be recognized as the winner, and a total of three winners will be invited to visit South Korea to explore landmarks in Seoul and brand spaces, in addition to having the opportunity to test drive the Ioniq 5 N and attend the N Festival 2025, one of the largest automotive sporting events held in South Korea.
This initiative is part of the South Korean brand’s strategy for Hyundai to connect with younger audiences through video games. “Last year, we started this content marketing strategy with the short film ‘Night Fishing,’ focusing on storytelling as a way to overcome the decline of traditional advertising.”, said Sungwon Jee, Global Marketing Director of Hyundai Motor Company. “This year, we are expanding our brand narrative into video games through our partnership with ‘Asphalt Legends Unite’ to connect with younger generations in a space they appreciate.”
Remember that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is the first 100% electric high-performance production vehicle from the South Korean manufacturer’s sports division, which is equipped with a state-of-the-art 84.0 kWh battery that powers two electric motors capable of delivering an output of 609 hp and a torque of 740 Nm. These figures can rise to an impressive 650 hp and 770 Nm of maximum torque with the NGB overboost function activated. The state-of-the-art battery provides a range of 448 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
