Horner: Red Bull’s difficulties in Monaco F1 do not have a quick solution.

Horner: Dificuldades da Red Bull na F1 de Mônaco não têm solução rápida.

Max Verstappen, from the Netherlands, driving for Red Bull Racing, had a tough time at the Monaco Grand Prix in the Formula 1 World Championship. The team faced several challenges throughout the weekend, with Verstappen hitting the wall during Q3 and qualifying in sixth place, while Sergio Perez was eliminated in Q1. Perez’s race ended early due to a collision with Kevin Magnussen on the first lap, resulting in a red flag and allowing the drivers to change tires and continue racing. Despite making a pit stop and trying to overtake George Russell’s Mercedes, Verstappen struggled to make significant progress in the race. The main issue for Red Bull in Monaco was the RB20’s inability to handle the kerbs, a problem Verstappen acknowledged had been present throughout the season. Red Bull team principal Christian Horner acknowledged that there is no quick fix for these issues and that it will require ongoing effort and understanding to resolve them. The team will focus on identifying the root cause of the handling problems and why the car is struggling with the kerbs. Horner also emphasized that Verstappen’s direct and honest feedback is not a cause for concern and that the team is committed to working hard to overcome these challenges.
