Horner confiante no futuro da Red Bull

Christian Horner, the Team Principal of Red Bull Racing, expressed his full confidence in remaining in his position after being cleared of allegations of misconduct. Following an investigation conducted by Red Bull’s parent company, Horner was absolved of the accusations made against him. This conclusion was reached after several weeks of scrutiny, with the findings compiled by an external lawyer. With the start of the Formula 1 season in Bahrain, Horner was relieved that the focus could now return to racing matters. He acknowledged that the recent attention had been unpleasant, but emphasized that the team’s main focus was on the cars and the track.

Horner declined to comment on the outcome of the investigation, emphasizing that he had unwavering support from Red Bull and his wife Geri, who was also present in Bahrain. He refused to speculate on the motivations behind the accusations, reiterating his dedication to the team, his family, and the pursuit of success in racing. Horner emphasized that the start of the season was a day dedicated solely to racing and the team’s achievements. With the drivers and the entire team performing brilliantly, it was an ideal start for Red Bull, its partners, shareholders, and all involved.

Horner made it clear that he had always been confident in his ongoing leadership at Red Bull. He emphasized that his focus was on the upcoming season and the upcoming races. Despite meetings with FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem and F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, Horner refrained from commenting on whether the case had tarnished the sport’s reputation. He stated that he could not control what others chose to write or say and reiterated his commitment to the team, his family, and the people who support him. Horner emphasized that an extensive internal process, overseen by an independent KC, had been conducted, resulting in the dismissal of the raised complaint. He concluded by urging everyone to move forward from this episode.
